Live from the Royal Albert Hall, Vassily Sinaisky conducts the BBC Philharmonic in some lesser-known works of the the English repertoire.

The second half of the programme marks the 75th anniversary of Elgar's death with his Symphony No 2, a nobly expansive exploration of past sorrows recalled and exorcised.
