Clare Balding and Rishi Persad are at Aintree on the opening day of the Grand National meeting. Norman Williamson, Richard Dunwoody and Mick Fitzgerald provide expert analysis.
Clare Balding and Rishi Persad are at Aintree on the opening day of The John Smith's Grand National meeting.
The feature race of the day is the 160,000 pounds totesport Bowl at 3.10, but for many the highlight will be will the Hunters' Chase at 3.45, where the spectacular Grand National fences will be tackled for the first time in the week. In total there are five races: 2.00, 2.35, 3.10, 3.45 and 4.20.
