Sue Barker presents highlights of the World Figure Skating Championships from Los Angeles. Skaters from over 60 countries are competing in this, the 99th edition of the famous championships which were first staged in 1896. If the recent European Championships are anything to go by, we should be in for a treat - especially with the added incentive of qualifying places for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

For Great Britain, siblings John and Sinead Kerr carry real medal hopes in the ice dance event, having clinched bronze at the European Championships in early 2009.
