After letting her down over Archie's christening, Joseph tries to convince Faye she can rely on him. Ric is shocked by the arrival of his son's ex-junkie friend Tom.

Joseph is late for Archie's christening and Linden steps in as godfather. Linden urges Faye to forgive Joseph in spite of his own secret feelings for her which are growing stronger.

Tom O'Dowd arrives at Holby as a medical student. Ric hasn't seen him since he cleared his son Leo's flat. Tom convinces Ric he is no longer a drug addict and can now be trusted.

Mark is enjoying taking care of little Joe, giving Daisha a bit of a break. But an emergency on AAU gives Rachel a chance to have a go too.
