BBC Wales celebrates an unprecedented year for Welsh Sport in a star studded awards ceremony from the Swalec Stadium in Cardiff. It's one of the closest contests in the history of the award and BBC Wales Sport Personality of the Year will be decided by a public vote.

The contenders for the main award are Grand Slam star and record try scorer Shane Williams, Olympic and World Cycling Champions Nicole Cooke and Geraint Thomas, Undefeated World Boxing Champion Joe Calzaghe, Paralympic Swimming Champion Dave Roberts, winner of 12 Gold Medals and Olympic Rowing Gold Medalist Tom James.
