Terry King is not just an ex-convict.

He's an ex-conman given a chance to prove himself and find his feet again.

His challenge is to bring a run down community centre back into life.

But he's got the support of Sandra Gaines, a social worker with a warm heart and an unhappy past.

This is the story of how two people fall in love - in spite of themselves.

Starring Karl Howman, Phyllis Logan and Geoffrey Whitehead.
