The eight female stars - TV presenter Christine Bleakley, model and TV presenter Jodie Kidd, singers Heather Small and Rachel Stevens, TV presenter and model Lisa Snowdon and actresses Gillian Taylforth, Cherie Lunghi and Jessie Wallace - compete against each other for the first time.
Dancing either a salsa or foxtrot, they will be hoping to earn viewer votes and impress judges Len Goodman, Arlene Phillips, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli.
The remaining male celebrities perform a group merengue.
