Trish Carn and her husband Roland are wardens of a Quaker meeting house in North London. Their small flat is overflowing with clutter amassed over a 30 year period and the Carns have decided it's time to clear out. They hope to raise 500 pounds to buy a digital camera for photography enthusiast Trish.
The discovery of a collection of early 20th- century postcards and an American Civil War army belt buckle set the team on the path to boot sale success.
