The wheelchair rugby tournament gets underway and the British team open their campaign against Paralympic champions, the New Zealand Wheel Blacks. Wheelchair tennis has reached the semi-final stage in the Quad Singles, where Paralympic champion Peter Norfolk will hope to be on course for a medal. In the pool South Africa's Natalie Du Toit will be favourite for a swimming gold at the Water Cube.
