Presented by Sean Rafferty. With pianist Stephen Hough, conductor Ingo Metzmacher and baritone Rod Gilfry, the Faure Quartet and a preview of the autumn 2008 season at Wigmore Hall.
As we lead up to the last week of the Proms, pianist Stephen Hough talks about his appearance at Prom 68, and conductor Ingo Metzmacher joins Rod Gilfry in previewing their five-hour-long performance in Prom 70. Plus there's music performed in the studio from the Fauré Quartet. They're soon to perform at the Wigmore Hall, and we welcome the venue Director, John Gilhooly, who previews their new season.
