A concert given as part of the BBC Proms 2008 featuring Einojuhani Rautavaara's most popular work - a soundscape for taped birdsong and orchestra, set against John Tavener's early cantata The Whale, the work that the London Sinfonietta premiered at its first concert 40 years ago.
