Jez Nelson presents highlights from the 2007 Saalfelden Jazz Festival, held annually in Austria and now in its 29th year.
Featuring performances by the AACM trio of Muhal Richard Abrams, Roscoe Mitchell and George Lewis, Henry Threadgill's acoustic group Zooid augmented by string orchestra as well as the theatrical Belgian big band led by Peter Vermeersch - The Flat Earth Society.
