Petroc Trelawny presents a concert given at London's Barbican Hall in May 2008, featuring South African pianist and composer Abdullah Ibrahim, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra. Ibrahim is famous for combining traditional African songs with more modern influences, particularly jazz and the sound of Thelonious Monk.
