Dr Richard Niles celebrates the life and music of the late and great Canadian arranger Percy Faith, who was born in 1908, and has gone down in music history as the man who invented elevator music.

In episode one, arrangers Nick Ingman and John Altman, and The Feeling's bassist Rich Jones discuss Faith's best-selling Theme From a Summer Place. Singer Amy MacDonald also drops by to hear how her hit single This Is The Life sounds after it's been given the Percy Faith treatment.
