At the Foot of the Cross

From St Paul's Cathedral in London, the BBC Concert Orchestra performs Faure's Requiem to mark Good Friday. Presented by Aled Jones.

Aled Jones introduces a meditation on Christ's journey to the cross.

The St Paul's Cathedral Consort is joined by the BBC Concert Orchestra for a special Good Friday performance of the Faure Requiem and Passiontide music, including Allegri's Miserere Mei and Good Friday hymns.

Sharon Small and Ben Miles tell the story of Christ's passion with Gospel readings and poetry, and the BBC Radio 2 Young Chorister of the Year Joel Whitewood sings the famous Pie Jesu. Director of music is Andrew Carwood.
