Mark turns to Memphis, where the Redneck sound changed direction in the Fifties. He talks to Haydn Thompson and Sonny Burgess, Elvis Presley's label mates on Sun Records, to find out what happened to country music when the King came crashing in.
Mark then heads further south to Louisiana, where swamp pop reveals a melting pot of different influences.
