Children's animation about the unique friendship between Lottie, a girl who doesn't fit in, and Nine, a cat who doesn't fit together properly.
After a particularly insane experiment by Dr Frankenstein, the castle finds itself at the mercy of a plague of rat-sized living brains that devour raw data from the professor's computers, increasing their intelligence with each megabyte. Nine is ordered to clear the castle of the creeping cortexes - a task that proves difficult.
