Ben Fogle takes a team of would-be adventurers on a gruelling trek of the Himalayas. There are several applicants who are ready to be tested mentally, physically and emotionally. Amongst them are a taxi driver who wants to get healthy and a nurse looking for a confidence boost. Ben is helped by naturalist Charlotte Uhlenbroek and psychologist Cynthia McVey.
