2.00pm British Symphony Series: Cyril Scott

Afternoon on 3 features the symphonies of Cyril Scott, whose work was first championed at the turn of the 20th century by Hans Richter and Henry Wood. Alongside his symphonic works and two of his large-scale concerti, all performed by the BBC Philharmonic, are works by Scott's contemporaries.
