Programme for pre-school children combining animation with live action footage from National Geographic and the BBC film archives. The stories centre around the adventures of a group of animals on the African savannah. While playing out near the savannah tree, Max, Bo, and Karla discover two young bird brothers, Dib and Dab, who appear to be lost and are unable to communicate. With the help of Mama's movies, they look at different animal homes, until they find the right one for Dib and Dab.
