Joe shows his entrepreneurial streak.

Eddie's had another turkey sale cancelled. He's convinced word's got round that they're not selling so everyone's banking on the prices dropping. Joe suggests throwing in some homemade stuffing to encourage sales and Eddie thinks that's the answer. Clarrie insists she hasn't got time to make the stuffing, and then there's the problem of needing freezer space to store it. Eddie suggests Nic could make it for them, and she's all for it but William won't let her do it for nothing. Eddie decides to make it himself but when Joe suggests using packets of stuffing and just adding a drop of cider and some chopped apple, Eddie agrees they're on a winner - Grundys' Special Cider Apple Christmas Stuffing.

Ruth's getting nervous at the thought of entertaining Jim to supper but she needn't have worried. He's very complimentary about the food and is interested to hear all about Brookfield - and in particular David and Ruth's interest in Adam's plans. When Alistair tries to agree with Tony and Pat's point of view, Jim quickly interrupts. He admires people like Ruth and David who just get stuck in - they're an inspiration to us all.
