Medical drama series set in a busy Australian hospital, following the lives of the nursing staff. Ben and Bron are taken hostage by a paranoid schizophrenic while his mother is admitted with mercury poisoning. When an elderly man has a stroke, Luke sees it as an opportunity for a young woman to get the lung transplant she needs - but the man's wife refuses to allow his life support to be switched off.
