Series which follows people's attempts to have their gardens accepted into the demanding National Gardens Scheme. Spindle Cottage in Somerset is a fairytale garden. However it isn’t the planting that sets it apart from the rest, but the three mini cottages that the owner has built for his grandchildren. The Orchids in Gwent has a newly formed pond, sculptures and a variety of indigenous and exotic plants, all bordered by a 19th century canal. Presented by Carol Klein.
