Hazel Irvine is joined by Michael Johnson, Colin Jackson and Denise Lewis for action and reaction from the opening day of the World Championships in Osaka. Three titles have already been decided, including the women's 10,000m, in which Britain's Jo Pavey challenged defending champion Tirunesh Dibaba. Elsewhere, the men's 100m semi-finalists were decided and British heptathletes Jessica Ennis and Kelly Sotherton completed four of the seven disciplines.
