Mike enjoys double the fun.

Mike's first date of the evening goes well and Mike's relieved when Wendy offers to buy the drinks next time. They both have plans for the rest of the evening but soon realise they're not only heading in the same direction, but to the same place - The Feathers. When Mike admits he's there to meet another woman, Wendy admits to being that other woman - she's Corrine! Mike explains about his two adverts and Wendy justifies her two names. Realising they're probably on the quickest second date in history, they both agree they're looking forward to the third.

The PCC discuss using the church as a community resource, which would mean replacing the pews with stackable chairs to make it more practical. There are mixed feelings, with support from Shula but objections from Susan who thinks it's sacrilegious to use the church for something like badminton. Jill needs convincing, especially as many of the suggested activities currently use the village hall. Alan believes the two places could complement each other but acknowledges that further consideration and consultation with the congregation is needed. As the meeting ends, everyone's arranging to meet on Sunday for the trip to Lords. Alan's sure they'll all have a great time.
