Documentary series about India's most sacred river. As the Ganges nears the sea, it divides into the many channels of the delta, a vast and beautiful region where boundaries between land and water are blurred. Here, the most densely packed human population on Earth lives alongside the unique animals of the Sundarbans Forest. People are threatened by the close proximity of wild animals and the danger of flooding, yet it is the ever-changing river that ultimately sustains the great abundance of life here.
