After five years together, carpet fitter Paul Plowright and legal secretary Emily Badger are desperate to get married. Emily's father is ill and the couple can't afford to postpone the wedding any longer. Having persuaded them to name the day, their friends and family will control the cash, take a week off work and organise the wedding from scratch, with a little help from stylist Hannah Sandling and international wedding expert James Love.
