Lilian turns over a new leaf.

Brenda doesn't care that Netherbourne's disqualification gives Ambridge a chance. She wants to prove that something's going on with Lilian and Mike. Roy can't see how Lilian being nice to Brenda proves anything but worries that she'd eat Mike alive. Brenda agrees, and they'd better do something about it.

Jennifer didn't expect Alice to be so angry with her. Alice refuses to talk, and Jennifer breaks down when Peggy arrives. Alice won't even talk to Adam. He should have told her, and she can't understand why he's going along with it. Adam begs her not to be so hard on Jennifer. Alice can't hold back the tears, and Adam comforts her, reminding her that she'll always be the baby sister and they'll always look after her. That will never change.

Peggy insists they acted in Alice's best interests and one day Alice will appreciate that. For now Jennifer must take it one day at a time and just do her best. That's all any of them can do.
