Roy's pleased when Sid says he's in the team for the cricket match against Netherborne on Sunday, but Sid's disappointed when Brenda says Tom won't be able to play - he'll be doing Gourmet Grills at a festival. At an urgent meeting with Brenda, Roy says he thinks Mike's seeing a woman. Overhearing, Sid lets slip that Mike's 'new lady' is the talk of the pub and Brenda's flabbergasted when he says it's Lilian. Brenda tells Roy to talk to Mike to find out for sure. But later when Roy confronts Mike, he doesn't react and Roy's still left wondering...

Jennifer breaks down in a phone call with Kate when she's discussing her pregnancy and how disruptive babies can be. Although calm at the news, Kate comments that she's always had a low opinion of her father and deep down she's always known what he was like. Jennifer begs Kate not to tell Debbie and Alice about Ruairi until after the funeral.

Brian's not happy when Jennifer says she's told Kate - but apologises when he realises how stressed Jennifer's been. They agree not to speak to each other until Siobhan's funeral is out of the way.
