Ruth does some detective work.

Sid gossips to Neil about Fallon and Ed; she's seeing him again that night, although Fallon's insisting that they're just mates.

Ruth's still got a bee in her bonnet about Eddie's milk yield being higher than hers. David reckons it's just a matter of pride but Ruth's determined to find out why. She pretends to Eddie that there's going to be an 'inspection for quality assurance' and runs through Eddie's parlour routine with him. But she's confounded when this doesn't reveal anything.

David and Alistair discuss Shula's 'cake-a-thon'. It seems Shula's determined the Ambridge cricket teas will be the best in the county.

Sid and Eddie discuss Lynda and Robert's bed & breakfast leaflet and reckon Robert's going to have his work cut out. Eddie tells Sid that as Nigel's pinched Joe's idea of using a horse-drawn carriage for his green weddings, Joe's going to cash in by going freelance with Bartleby.

After nets there's much talk about who'll make the cricket team for Sunday's cup game. When David points out that Adam's exhausted, Sid and Alistair agree it's vital he's fit and well rested on Sunday - the team depends on him as much as it does on Kev!
