Rookie barrister Roger Thursby unwittingly aids a habitual fraudster.

Henry Cecil's comic legal novel Brothers in Law was first published in 1955.

Legendary duo Frank Muir and Denis Norden adapted it for BBC TV in 1962. This gave Richard Briers his first regular starring role as idealistic young lawyer, Roger Thursby.
