In the first community garden of the series, the whole Beechgrove team are on the road to help in the final stages of a new community garden in Meigle.

The community gardens are where a community design and build a garden for themselves by themselves with a little help from Beechgrove. Since 1996, over 140 community gardens have been created in this manner across Scotland.

The community in Meigle had for many years suffered from a lack of a central village feature, worse than that, the centre of the village was in fact a derelict car showroom. The Meigle community purchased the land round the old showroom and have set out to create a stunning designed garden right in the centre of the village of Meigle for locals and visitors alike.
