Conspiracy thriller series. Eshan Borisvitch has been assassinated under Mark Brydon's protection and Downing Street are recalling him to London. Just as it seems that his career is over a lifeline is thrown from an unexpected place - Defense Secretary Warner makes it clear that the White House would be unhappy to see Mark removed from office. Mark takes a chance to meet fugitive James Sinclair, who reveals that the conspiracy they both suspect runs deeper than they think.
