Drama series about a sleuthing doctor. A doctor dies of an apparent heart attack while in the middle of performing surgery, and Dr Sloan must investigate.

When one of Dr Sloan's long-time friends needs critical surgery, he asks him to be one of his surgeons, along with four of his proteges, each at the top of their field, and all of them mutual rivals.

The tension in the operating room reaches a climax when Dr Morrisey suddenly dies from an apparent heart attack while in the middle of surgery.
