Author and amateur detective Ellery Queen attempts to solve another murder. Before a new burlesque-revival show called Take It Off can open, its producer Sam Packer is found dead of an apparent heart attack. But the dead man has left behind a video, to be shown at his funeral, declaring that he was murdered.
