In the Rhone Valley, Oz wants James to learn about the different grape varieties used in winemaking. They visit winemaker Michel Chapoutier, who to James's delight loves classic cars as much as his precious Syrah vineyards. On a visit to Domaine Viret they discover a mystic form of winemaking which attempts to harness the cosmic energy of the sky and divert it into the grapes.
