The Adventure of the Miss Aggie's Farewell Performance
Author and amateur detective Ellery Queen attempts to solve another murder. Soap-opera diva Vera Bethune - known to her fans as dear Miss Aggie, beloved school teacher - is poisoned during a taping of the show. She survives, and asks Ellery to stay on the case, but is later shot dead.
