Three close encounters of differing kinds in the 1940s introduce a wartime pilot from Illinois, an ambitious Army Intelligence officer at Roswell and an unhappily married waitress in Texas to the uncomfortable truth of alien visitors to Earth. There are consequences for their families and the whole of humanity.
