The Witness

Police comedy-drama series about a straight-laced Canadian mountie and his pet wolf in Chicago. Things aren't going well for Fraser or Vecchio. Benton's new boss wants him out and Ray has been thrown into jail for contempt when he fails to produce his notebooks as evidence in a murder trial. On top of that his star witness has retracted her statement and it is looking as though the suspect may walk as a result. Has she been threatened? What is the connection between the case and her husband who is also in jail? Fraser decides to investigate - from the inside. But first he has to commit a crime.
