Zebras - the Trailblazers

David Attenborough examines the reasons why zebras are marked in such a bizarre and conspicuous way. Herds can be broken down into hundreds of individual family groups displaying intimate and touching relationships. Could the stripes - each pattern as individual as a fingerprint - be an identifier, or are they a confusion ploy?
