Brian sorts out his priorities.

At the cricket match, Adam's awkward when he has to explain he can't make the extra training that Alistair's set up because Brian's 'at a marketing conference' in Dublin.

Ruth's in despair over her attempts at making cow costumes for the family for the sponsored race.

Brian spends time with Siobhan and Ruairi in Dublin. He confides in Siobhan that he'd hoped to have been able to persuade Jennifer to come over. Perhaps if she had the chance to meet Ruairi it might make all the difference. Later Brian has an uncomfortable tea with Siobhan's mother. It's clear to him she'd rather Ruairi lived with Niamh, so he reassures her that she'd be able to see Ruairi as often as she liked if Brian took him on.

Tired and stressed, Jennifer admits to Adam that she's not sleeping; it's impossible knowing that Brian's made the choice to be with Siobhan and Ruairi instead of with her. She's worried that Brian might not come back. Adam tries to comfort her but they're interrupted by Alice's return. Later Adam encourages Jennifer to go to Dublin; whatever happens to Siobhan, Brian will always have Ruairi in his life. Jennifer reiterates that she can't do it.
