Nigel investigates the family tree.

Nigel's in the attic trying to track down an address for his cousin Lucille in Canada, in the hope that she can shed light on Great Uncle Rupert's lost decade. Elizabeth wants Nigel to stop filling the children's heads with stories from the past - he's frightening them.

It's Bert's first day at Lower Loxley tomorrow. He wants to do a final check of the room before helping with the lambs but when he realises David's got to leave Ruth to test the cows for mastitis on her own, he offers to stay and help. David's grateful when Jill also offers to help in the kitchen and he knows Ruth will be pleased to know Jill's willing to help with the bike race costumes. While checking on the sheep, Bert seizes the opportunity to try to tell David the history of Nigel's great-great-great uncle Cedric. David quickly gets him back on track, looking at the lambs - he can save his spiel for the paying customers!
