Barclay is under pressure. Today he has to defend the course of his enquiry to an independent 28-day police review comprised of detectives from outside the local force. Despite the fact he has no body, no suspect and no apparent theory, Barclay has turned the case into a murder enquiry.

Meanwhile, as Matt grows closer to Sarah, he continues to struggle to makes ends meet. And Matt and police liaison officer Simone Farnes make a disquieting discovery.
