Transatlantic Soul Connection

Pauline Black presents one of three concerts to accompany the BBC series Soul Britannia, featuring Southern soul master Sam Moore of Sam & Dave fame; the voice of The Animals and the British RnB boom, Eric Burdon; Geno Washington, the American G.I. who launched his Ram Jam Band that drove the UK wild in the mid-60s; Madeline Bell, whose singles were hits on the Northern Soul scene; mod favourite Jimmy James; and Eddie Floyd, whose Knock On Wood became one of the great floor fillers.
