Heather Suttie Party Questionnaire

Favourite “Get The Party Started” record?

Sugarhill Gang - Rappers Delight turned up very loud. It’s one of my favourites full stop. (And I forgot to add it into my playlists - doh!)

Favourite cocktail?

I don’t drink anymore but love making cocktails and my favourite party cocktail which I’d serve for guests would be Jaegerbombs and then champagne.

Favourite party venue?

From my clubbing days and when I worked in music, it was The Tunnel in Glasgow.
I worked there and at the time it was one of the best clubs in the world.

3 stunning rooms, beautifully designed by Ron McCulloch and filled with amazing music, an incredible sound system, groovy toilets and a friendly, totally up for it crowd.

It’s where I saw Gil Scott Heron,Jamiroquai, Stereo MCs, Take That and all of the superstar DJs like
Pete Tong, Armand Van Helden, Todd Terry, Tevendale + McCreery, Michael Kilkie, Paul Oakenfold and I will always remember the 5th birthday with Roger Sanchez. It is still a great venue - 20 years on, though I haven’t been to it in a long time and it was sold recently.

Fancy dress – who would you go as?

A big shiny disco ball.

Ideal celebrity guest list?

Billy Connolly and his ukele, the Dalai Lama or if he was coming from Edinburgh, the Dalry Lama for the chilled factor, Jason Statham in case it kicks off.
High octane glamour and recanting stories of misbehaving from Studio 54 would come from Grace Jones and Jerry Hall.
Richard Burton for keeping everyones glass topped up with Dom Perignon 55.
Donna Tartt for her wonderful imagination.Taylor Swift for karaoke.
They’d all have a plus one, so that would add Calvin Harris, Liz Taylor however Jason Statham would have to come on his tod.

Party disaster?

Not many disasters that I can remember though my Weimaraner Charlee once scoffed a box of cupcakes I’d bought for a Sex and the City themed party a few years ago. She was fine if a little hyper.
