About Wynne

Wynne Evans was born in Carmarthen and can be seen regularly singing to millions as a spoof opera star on TV.

Wynne studied at the Guildhall School of Music and the National Opera Studio. Over the last 20 years, he has sung major principal roles at many of the world's leading opera houses and orchestras including The Royal Opera House, Welsh National Opera, Teatro La Fenice, Opera De Lyon and Glyndebourne.

His debut album 'A Song in My Heart' went to Number 1 in the classical charts.

Wynne presents a daily radio show on BBC Radio Wales and has also presented his own TV Series BBC1 Wales and S4C. Apart from his operatic and concert work he sang the role of PIANGI in the 25 year anniversary performance of The Phantom of the Opera, which was broadcast live from the Royal Albert Hall to cinemas worldwide.
