The success of Ambush, despite his name, hasn't come completely by surprise. He's been putting in hard graft since 2012, when he guested on General Gheezy's I Need That, and the Camden MC has been honing his flows for the seven years since.

It’s work that’s paying off too, with his rapidfire rhymes earning him a Skepta and Chip co-sign in 2018, appearing on a remix of his street anthem Jumpy. You will be seeing a lot more of Ambush in 2019.

Thing to know: He’s a snappy dresser, turning up to one interview in a pair of birkenstocks.
