Cold white cold
tile tracks tile
fur fingers fawn
the expensive pales
taupe mauve caramel
cocktail party cool
worth unmeasured
riches unquantified
possessions unprized
banana slip split
immersive absence
stifling lack of consensus
precognition failing to see
reality unreal wired up
to light and warmth
and folk and bin collections
and the little piecemeal messes
that are a way to dream
and live and live

and a tap that hurts to...
DO NOT TOUCH.
(but I'm thirsty)

a tap that hurts to....
DO NOT TOUCH.
(but it's cold in here)

a tap that hurts to...
DO NOT
(too late).
