Who's your favourite?

Who do you think is the greatest Roald Dahl character of all time?

That's what we asked you to decide - voting closed at 1600 BST on Friday 2 September.

As part of the Roald Dahl Centenary celebrations, we've challenged our listeners to vote for their favourite character from across the Cardiff-born author's books.
To help jog your memory, we put together this special guide to the 27 colourful characters who made the long-list (selected by the BBC in dialogue with the Roald Dahl estate).

So... who's come out on top?
The Top 10 will be revealed in a countdown across the week of Roald Dahl's birthday, culminating in a special live show on Sunday September 18 where Mark Goodier and Alex Jones will reveal BBC Radio Wales Favourite Roald Dahl Character. They'll be joined on-air by a host of special guests and famous fans such as Claudia Winkleman, Nick Grimshaw, Pam Ferris, Fern Britten, Cerys Matthews and Michael Ball.

BBC Radio Wales Favourite Roald Dahl Character is a station-wide and nation-wide event celebrating Roald Dahl’s greatest characters, and his connections to Wales - Dahl was born in Cardiff on 13 September 1916.
