Come on down to Caernarfon to kick off Get Creative Weekend

Join BBC Wales and Arts Council of Wales in a celebration of creative activities, arts, crafts & fun for all on Friday 1st April in Caernarfon, North Wales!

Get Creative Day, 1 April, 9.30am – 5.00pm - Galeri, Caernarfon

There are a huge range of activities on offer:

You can try your hand at presenting with BBC Wales’ Rhian Haf and Elin Fflur from Heno, S4C.

Come along to sing and dance with Dona Direidi. (book free tickets via Galeri on 01286 685222*)

Take part in music and light workshops with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Dawns i Bawb.

BBC Radio Cymru’s Shan Cothi will broadcast live from 10am-12pm & Tudur Owen from 2-5pm

BBC Radio Wales’ Wynne Evans will also be live from 11am-1pm.

There will be live music from Horizons 2016 artists.

Discover the latest digital creative technology with the BBC Wales Innovation Lounge.

Have a go at coding Lego builds and play 3D games with The Big Learning Company.

Steps in Music sessions (6month-7yrs) with William Mathias Centre

And there's puppet-making with Theatr Bara Caws.

Wynne Evans will be broadcasting live from 11am-1pm

There’ll be creative writing sessions, circus skills, a climbing wall and arts and crafts with The Urdd, aerial dancing and even an encounter with Doctor Who’s TARDIS!
